Just received the latest update and now it does not appear my projects are rendering nor will it export directly. I can only send to compressor. Is this operator error? If so how do I turn the setting back?

This was a Read/Write permissions issue. I had to duplicate the project on the internal drive and remove it from the external. So tired of constantly battling with Apple permissions. Is there anyway to ensure "Apple Locks" are not placed on my projects and copyright footage. 99% of my issues are because of Apple Permissions -- all in the name of "Security Features" I don't want on my equipment. I so wish they would design a professional product for business use. I have no interest in "tagging my bff" I am trying to run a business. Close to 40 hours of extra work on this project. If you have full read/write permissions for the drive I’m not seeing why an error would come up. Try export a short segment of the project as see if that works.
I think it may be a permissions issue. This is a project I have used with a different user and I am constantly battling permissions with all my apple devises. This is only a guess but I did notice it is not rendering photos on the timeline that I imported and edited with another user. Will see what the others come up with.
What exactly happens if you export a ProRes master file? Details help.
What are your hardware specs?
The problems in the media. What is it? Where’s it stored? What’s the drive? How’s it connected and formatted?
How did you get this, as media files, imported from camera cards, in a library?
Have the exact same problem. I have tried moving the Library, re-importing my media, but nothing works. I can't share via any means. When I try, FCPX creates an empty file on my target drive, but then immediately says "The operation cannot be completed error -12912". There's no documentation (that I can find) on this error code.
Full R/W - yes. There is no error, it simply does nothing - dead air.
I am waiting on an extremely slow compressor to export the DVD as soon as it is finished I am going to create a new Library and see if the problem duplicates itself or if it is just a corrupt library. if it is the Library then I will reconstruct it for storage purposes and move on.
The details are simple -- nothing happens. No action is taken no matter what I choose.

This is a project I have worked on for three years and I have never had this issues before. It is showing a dotted line above the timeline indicating it has not been rendered. There are still photos imported into photos and video shot on iPhone, Canon T6i direct import and files are stored in the bundle and the cash is in a shared folder on the internal hard drive. The bundle is 60gb and is currently stored on an external drive. Did not bother with importing it onto the internal as I just needed to export a DVD copy for a client. Several hundred GB available on both drives and I am using 16GB RAM. I think it may be permissions. I use my production computers for work only and I do not use iCloud. I do have to wipe the internal drive once or twice a year when major updates come in. This is when the permissions become an issue. This, however, is the first time it has disabled rendering and exporting of of files. Usually I can override Apples presets.
