IOS 11.3.1 Major problems

Since the upgrade on my iPad to iOS 11.3.1, the battery drains quickly, it is extremely difficult to get it to recharge ( using charging cord and original power adapter), plus performance erratic behavior both when using an app or while logged in while not actively using apps... random erratic screen changes, data entered without human touching any icon or keypad, flickering, rapid screen changes, etc.

Other users and Forbes.com reported this week and earlier about these and other issues with iOS 11.3.1 since its release.

What can I do to repair this issue? e.g. Return to a previous version of iOS? If so, how?

I have already followed all suggestions provided on Apple’s support pages to users.

Example: all apps were closed. Power adapter was checked, clean, cord is in as-new condition, iPad power port is clean (no lint or other debris). It was left on a cool surface all night. The lightning bolt that should appear to the right of the uppe right screen corner did not display. Charging thru the night erratically, resulting in a max of 26%, up from 2%

It MAY be normal for battery usage to increase greatly after certain updates due to "housecleaning" activity in the background

These may not fully explain all your various other issues, but I would view them as a separate issue until the draining issue is resolved
