awhile ago i encountered the same issue. I didnt notice at first but when it took me 2 hrs to charge my iphone 8 plus that makes me worry. it stuck at 82%. what i did is i restart my iphone still the same then i shut it down for couple of minutes i turned it on still the same. that made me more worried. untill i reset all settings followed by shut it down for copule of seconds and when i turned it on its fix. hope it will work on your iphone 🙂🙂🙂

My phone is fine now. What I did was I restart my phone a couple of times. Actually, my battery percentage was stucked at 82%. I think there’s a bug on the new iOS.
Maybe..it happened to me when i updated to the newest ios version...same here stuck at 82%. What i did is i reset and restatrt my iphone.

It started when I updated to iOS 11.3.1.
Try restarting your phone. It would change the battery percentage.
Same wth me still happening atm. No changes at all. If i restart my phone battery percentage will go up, but if i charge it again it will stuck on what percentage it is. I dont know what's happening too im a little bit worried because this is more than worse than before.
Good thing that our phones are fine now.

Hello. Actually, I am experiencing it just awhile ago. I don’t know what’s happening also, I think it’s a bug from the new iOS update. No one from Apple replying to this problem.
It’s a software issue. I’m just hoping that Apple will resolve this as soon as possible. It’s very annoying and incovenient to restart your phone to check your battery percentage.
