Audio files added to GarageBand, produce no sound

When I add audio files to an audio track in GarageBand, I can see them. But when played no sound is outputted. The audio file plays fine in other software including Finder.

This seems to be due to a bug in GarageBand, if you login to a fresh new user account it will probably work.

To fix the issue in your original account. Delete the the files and folders within within your user folder @ ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.garageband10/Data/Library/Application Support/GarageBand/

You also may notice the volume control on the Audio track will also now show it's input sound meter, that it wasn't showing before.
