built-in camera not working for Macbook Pro 15' 2015 Model

Hello Apple Community, my built-in camera for my Macbook Pro is not working.

Symptoms: apps like photobooth, facetime, teamviewer display black camera view; upon using the camera, the built-in LED besides the camera is flashing green

Mac Spec: 15' Mid-2015 Macbook Pro, 256SSD, 2.2GHZ I7 processor, 16GB memory

OS Version, 10.13.4 High Sierra
