Sync or download AOL contacts to iOS contacts app

Thank you. The AOL user must set up a carddav account using server address username.aol.com using add “other” account instead of AOL. It failed to login to the server the first couple of attempts, but finally was successful and “fetched” our AOL contacts.

Related question: is there any way to move contacts from a subcribed carddav account e.g. AOL to iCloud contacts within the Contacts app?

AOL Contacts cannot be exported in vCard format. CSV is an option, but iCloud cannot import CSV format.
