Account Recovery

I have an Account Recovery in progress because I forgot my password. The current message reads, "Status information will be available in 17 hours. At that time we will send instructions to the phone number you provided." How can I confirm the phone number I provided?

You would have to log in with your Apple ID to review the phone that you associated with your account. Since you have forgotten your password, that won't be possible.


I suggest that you wait the required period. If you are still unable to recover your account, then at this point you will need to ask Apple's Apple ID Account Security team for further assistance with this matter. To contact them, clickhereand pick a method; if that page doesn't list one for your country or you're unable to call, fill out and submitthis form.
