iMac Airdrop setting keeps

My wife uses her iMac and iPad to edit pics for her business. She uses Airdrop to send the pics back and forth, but today her iPad wouldn't show up on the iMac. I looked and saw her "Allow me to be discovered by:" setting was set to No One. I changed it to Everyone, however, anytime we leave the Airdrop tab to grab the files needed and return the setting has been changed back to No One. I have never had this problem before and Google was no help. Any ideas???

Sorry! I misunderstood.

Have you tried restarting the iMac?

No worries. We're trying a restart at the moment. Hopefully something just got hung up and the restart fixes it. Thanks again!

Thanks, but the issue is with the iMac, not the iPad. She uses Airdrop everyday so I know the settings are correct on both devices (although I did double check them). As I stated, the problem appears to be that when I change No One to Everyone on the Airdrop tab in the Finder, if I leave the tab and return, it has reverted back to No One.
