My iphone 8+ is feeling slower

So i’ve had my iphone 8 plus for a good while now and it’s been good,never had a problem with it until lately.It just starts glitching and all these bugs start happening.Also another thing,how bad can heat affect a phone?My phone was left in my cousins car and it stayed there for a whole day in a somewhat hot car,and i’m walking around in the sun with my phone in my hand most of the time since i live in Texas and it’s very hot here.Can heat may be a reason for my phone‘s malfunction?

iPhone X slow unusable in heat I have a iPhone X for work I used this for months with no issues until it gets warm outside. It works great until I get outside and it warms up it becomes unusable. We’re in Arizona I work outside. There is not overheating warnings. Once I go inside and it cools down it works great again.
