how do I get my phone to turn on by pointing it at my face
when my friend puts her screen towards her face it will turn on and I’m not sure how to do that on my phone. (She has an SE and I have a 6)

You're talking about the Raise to Wake feature. It's only available on the iPhone 6S and later. The iPhone 6 doesn't have it. The iPhone SE, on the other hand, is pretty much the iPhond 6S in a smaller package.
