Apple Pay Cash Not Adding to Balance

I received $25 from a friend around a week ago in an iMessage using Apple Pay cash. I have a transaction id, I acepted the payment, everything seems to have gone right, however my balance has not updated from $0 to $25. So I cannot transfer it to my bank, nor can I use it for anything. It is just floating around in the cloud somewhere and I am not sure what to do. Any help is appreciated!
