Can't move multiple tracks with volume adj.

I have multiple tracks in Garageband 9. I can move multiple tracks but any volume adjustments do not move with them. Is it possible to move tracks and volume adjustments together? For instance if I shorten the first track how can I move all the other tracks and volume adjustments related to those tracks at once without having to reset every volume curve point?


This question was answered but only by a link. Couldn't access it. Please let me know how to resolve this.

MacBook Pro (13-inch Early 2011), macOS Sierra (10.12.6)

so that we're both using the same terminology, a "track" is the horizontal slot that holds recorded "regions" and loops. you're moving regions, not tracks.

by default automation curves belong to the track rather than the recorded regions. if you want the automation curves to move with the regions turn on the Lock Automation Curves to Regions menuItem.


version 9 of GB isn't available on this computer, but version 4 is, and should look the same as v9:
