iOS 11.3.1 songs don't move forward, only repeat

Hey all, since updating to iOS 11.3.1 on an iPhone 8 plus my songs in my personal playlists in Music don't automatically jump to the next one when the song is done, just repeats it until you click the next one.

I've made sure "repeat" and "shuffle" is off in iTunes when I sync, but the songs keep repeating, and I can't find anything under the Music app settings in iPhone to change it.

Any ideas?

iPhone 8 Plus, iOS 11.3.1, CarPlay

Answered my own question:

To stop (or start) song repeating, click the player section at the bottom of the playlist to bring up the 'now playing' screen, then scroll down on that screen to the red "repeat and "shuffle" words and click to turn off or on there.

Why in the heck would you be able to select both shuffle and repeat??? Should the fact that you want to shuffle a play list turn off the repeat function?
