Cannot update Itunes because i get an error during installation that says it cannot find a folder containing the installation package itunes64.msi

when trying to update iTunes, I receive an error that says it cannot find the folder containing the installation package ( itunes64.msi ).

Installation failed.

cannot install or update iTunes because of this missing folder : itunes64.msi

Windows 10, Itunes 64
