i recently reset my iphone x settings because i was not gettings my notifications but after reseting it my contact names are revealed on the lock screen even my settings are on show previews when unlocked but it still reveals the sender name and content
Let's make an example with a built-in app: Text Message (SMS)
Settings>Notifications>Messages
- 3rd option = Show on lock screen = disabled
- penultimate option = Show Preview = when unlocked
Test it and tell me what happens, please.

Have you checked: Settings>Notifications>Viber> then scroll to the bottom and change the "Show preview" option (penultimate) there?

Yes its says don’t show previews it happening with all my social media. They’re all showing it. I don’t know how
It still shows previews on the screen.. i tested it before posting the issue here..
And the sender name imessage and text message
Before reseting the settings it was working fine but after it it shows me every content even its setting says show it when unlocked. It even shows it when the notification setting is on never
It's really weird, annoaj.
Do you have restrictions enabled? what happens if you disable them, restart your iphone, and test it for a while?

I don’t have any restrictions enabled they are disabled i just have facelock and that is it. Im gona restart the phn so maybe i could work
