import photos from iphone to Mac

iphone 6+ iMac 27 2015 latest iOS 11.3.1 and macOS 10.13.4

Problem:

It worked before without problem. Then I imported a huge directory of photos to Photos. Now I get the above error message, even after restating both devices and chaging USB port. I can still send photos via email.

Importing photos from iphone to computer error I have 645 pictures and videos I'm trying to import from iphone to computer and it will do a few photos and the errors pops up and quits downloading if I restart it pops up error. I have to wait unplug phone then a couple minutes later it might import a few might not at all. I have tried doing 8 or just a few photos it pops up error. Any suggestions what I'm doing wrong?

some photos and videos captured by iphone X cannot be imported to Mac I am using Photos to import all my photos and videos on my iphone X. However, some photos and videos (captured by iphone) cannot be imported to Mac. The error is "The operation couldn't be completed. (com.apple.ImageCaptureCore error -9937)". Actually, this happens for a long time, years ago, though I kept updating iOS and OSX.

It's not clear what your question is.

I'll take a guess:

"I cannot import 54 photos. Would you please help me do that? Thanks."

Sure. You can simply AirDrop the photos to your Mac.

Use AirDrop on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Then remove the photos from your iPhone.
