iPhone5S Remote Management

I have finally scored an iPhone for my wife ( from my sister-in-law ), it was a 'company' phone with Remote Management for installation of Apps etc. Their IT whizzes have done their thing and deleted all apps etc so should now be an 'as new' phone - unfortunately this is not the case as when setting up I am presented with the following two screens very early on in the process.

Upon re-quizzing the IT boys they have now said that "Not good news re the phone, seems we need a non DEP phone and the Ip5 I gave you cant be made a non Oceania phone" . So they don't want the hardware back "throw it in the bin" - SURELY, there must be an alternative to this wasteful / drastic option ?

No. There is no alternative.


You can't use that phone. It is locked to their corporate DEP account.
