Need help removing an old itunes account which no longer exists from iphone, the email address used was a old email address so i set up a new one and new itunes account, but my phone still has the old itunes details, so i tried to reset factory fresh but you need the itunes password for the account which... no longer exists
If you activated the phone with that old ID, you will need to recover the password for that account to be able to remove it from the phone. Also, any iTunes content that you purchased/downloaded with that old ID is permanently locked to that ID and you will need it to update any of that content, unless you delete it all and make all new purchases/downloads with the new ID.
