Do the arrows keys on a Bluetooth keyboard work for games on an iPad?

I just bought a Bluetooth keyboard (Logitech) on amazon and noticed that when I try moving my character on my iPad game, it doesn’t work. The only buttons that work for my game are the letter buttons. Does this mean I should buy a keyboard made from Apple or do the arrow keys only work when typing things?

Bluetooth keyboard and mouse trouble Ipad 10.5 iOS 13.2.2 -I can get a Bluetooth keyboard to work. I can get a Bluetooth mouse to work. But when combined, the keyboard right side alpha characters produce mouse movements, not characters. I have tried everything I can think of. Is there a trick I am missing? I understand that wireless combos work if I use a dongle but, I want Bluetooth?
