Apple watch Will not accept my passcode. Its brand new and i have not tried anything yet. How can this be fixed

Is this a passcode you just created? If the device is not accepting your passcode, then you will need to use the information in this support document to clear it. If you forgot your Apple Watch passcode - Apple Support

Have you even paired it to your phone yet? If not, and it's asking for a passcode, then it is not new.
