I never had problem adding artworks to my albums but today I wanted to add a another album then transfer it to my iPhone but couldn’t add the art via “get album artwork“ and when tried to add it manually, i put the art on the artwork screen but when clicked “ok” it was like nothing ever happened
You cannot add custom artwork to tracks in .wav format, that are in the cloud, locked as read only, or for which your account doesn't have write permissions. See Repair security permissions for iTunes for Windows if needed.

What format are the tracks in? If mp3s you could try the technique in the user tip for eliminating multiple tags to see if that helps.

Thanks a lot, I went through and fixed all the permissions for iTunes and media files, but it’s still the same.
