iphone and imac wont sync

I wish to load some music from my 2006 iMac 10.7.5 with iTunes 12.2.2.2.5. (That's as high as she'll go)

When I connect phone , I get a pop up saying phone can not connect to iTunes.

Suggestions??

iTunes and iPhone won't sync properly I have tried several times for days to sync music on my iPhone 6 with iTunes on my WIndows computer, but they won't sync. All the iTunes does is start the syncing process and prepare the items to be synced in three steps. Before this problem arose, my iPhone would sync in six steps. It is not working anymore. Can someone please help out? Thank you.

issue with connections to my laptop and itunes Hi, Although my itunes and my windows and my phone are all updated and my cable works, I cannot get connected to my itunes with my phone via my usb cable. I have tried the cable and the itunes for other phones and they have worked but my problem haven't gotten solved yet. what should I do? I want to import music from my pc to my phone and I can't. :(((

Hi,

It won't sync because iTunes for Macs requires OS X v10.9.5 Mavericks or later and the latest version of iTunes > Get the latest version of iTunes - Apple Support

Mavericks is no longer available from the App Store and unfortunately, your Mac is too oudated to upgrade to macOS High Sierra 10.13.
