Ever since I updated iOS to 11.3.1, when I try to screen record while music is playing in the background, there’s no sound. The song is playing, but I hear no sound coming out. Even when I have earbuds plugged in or I go back and watch the video, there’s absolutely no sound. Help?

For real! I’m tryna show off what song I’m listening to and it won’t let me record it. Like I already purchased Apple Music, I should be allowed to do whatever I want with it

This is a terrible update. If I knew it would have done this I would have never updated. I mostly post music related posts on IG now this is not an option. Not. Good.

sorry for late response, but yes. You can screenrecord on soundcloud. The only reason I wanted to do it on apple music, is because there aren't any ads.

What did you post to YouTube? The remedy to the situation? Because I still can't get sound when I do a screen record of my purchased iTunes music. I am getting sound when I record YouTube.
