iTunes version 12.7.4.80 won't sync to my devices

I have an iPod Classic and an iPad that have never had any problems syncing with iTunes. This week neither will sync. I think it's the latest version of iTunes - 12.7.4.80. I'm using Windows 7, 64 bit. How do I install a previous version of iTunes without losing my songs?

To roll back to iTunes 12.7.3.46 see the iTunes installers section of Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates for direct download links and advice on reverting to a pre-upgrade copy of your library. You lose the changes made to the library since you installed 12.7.4.76/80. You can add the media folder to the library to import your recent additions.
