I got a virus popup on my computer telling me I have a virus on my MacBook Pro is that Real or fake

If you are using Safari ... go to Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab then click Manage Website Data then remove all your cookies just to be on the safe side.
BTW, there are no Mac viruses.
