Ipod 3rd Gen not connecting

Ipod 3rd Generation not showing in iTunes or showing as a connected device. I have it connected on an Apple Firewire/USB Cable iPod not showing in USB devices in System Information. IPod works fine. It was originally connected to an old macbook which stopped working.

iPod recognizes iTunes, but iTunes doesn't recognize iPod This is to say that according to my iPod Classic, it is connected to iTunes. iTunes, however, doesn't acknowledge that anything is connected to it. There's no error message, no unknown message, anything like that. There's just no acknowledgement from iTunes that anything exists at all. (Note the photo below, where you can see the cable icon and the "Connected" message on the iPod, but no little iPod icon or any other acknowledgement on iTunes.) I have tried restarting the computer, restarting iTunes, restarting the iPod, and tried every UBS port on the computer, including ones that are still currently working for both my external HD and my iPhone. iTunes recognizes both. It does not know that the iPod is there. Please, someone, tell me what else to do.

iPod 4th Gen Mono showing Windows 10 PC as Unknow USB Device When I plug my iPod into my Computer it doesn't show up in iTunes or File Explore and when I check device manager the iPod is showing up as a Unknow USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed). Any idea on what can fix this I have tried reinstalling iTunes and even a clean version of Windows 10 on my Laptop and it still shows as a Unknow Device

See If iTunes doesn't recognize your iPhone, iPad, or iPod - Apple Support.
