Strange Screen artifact

Hello all,

I use MacBook Air (1.8GHz Intel Core i5, Intel HD Graphic 4000 1024MB). Recently I started having the following artifact. I could not figure out any specific application that I use before it suddenly occurs. It does not disappear and the only solution is to restart the computer.

Do you have any advice or idea how to fix it?

MacBook Pro Screen flicker! My MacBook started to flicker randomly. I wiped the whole hard drive. Reinstalled the macOS, safe boosted, internet recovery..... everything on the internet, I’ve tried. I don’t think it’s the screen becasue when I did the internet recovery the lines went, so it couldn’t be the screen. But something that makes me think it’s the screen, is when I open my Mac at about 45° the lines go away but when I open it further, the lines come back! Help please!

screen artefact on MacBook Pro 2015 a screen artifact appeared recently that is a very well defined, grey shape that looks like a straight edge utility blade with a notch in it. It partly overlaps the menubar. It does not show up if I try to capture it with screenshot. I've restarted, updated sw, etc. Ideas

It looks like a hardware problem. CPU or graphics card. I suggest you make a Genius Bar appointment for a free evaluation.
