Iphone X lag.!!!

Create a current backup of the device and restore to that backup. If that does not help, then restore the device to factory and set it up as a new phone and see how it works. If you are not experiencing any problems, then restore your backup. If the problems return, then restore to factory again and sync your content back manually, not using a backup. Sounds like you may have some corrupt data on the phone and is in your backup.

Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings

This will reset all settings and your Apple Pay cards will be removed. No data or media will be deleted

Did you activate this phone from a backup of an older phone? How much free space do you have left on the phone? What troubleshooting have you tried?

I can say that we have 3 iPhone X in our family and they are running quite smoothly, so it would seem that it is a problem with your individual phone. You say you haven't had the phone for 3 months, has it been this way the entire time?

I have this issue too. Touch screen response is horrible, screen freezes, with one app running, on scrolling, most bit picks, ie. selections in an app, doesn’t really matter if Apple apps or 3rd party; happens really bad in Settings throughout all dialogues, button switches, menus. BTW this is true on all my iOS devices. There’s something wrong with the 3D Touch screen drivers, it’s something fundamental; seems so to me.
