This is for Apple. With so many people complaining and upset about text messages being deleted etc.,
is there not any way you can at least make it so you have to SWIPE TWICE!!!!!!!!!!!!. It is way too easy to delete a whole string of messages and pictures. Still crying !!!!!

What you can do is send Apple feedback directly > Feedback - iPhone - Apple
Actually, Apple HAS fixed it in 11.3. Now instead of just swiping you must tap a confirmation dialog.
Unfortunately, many users don't see it your way. They are clamoring for going back to just swipes. Here's one example: iOS 11.3 - Delete Message Confirmation
Thank you. I just sent a message using your link. Maybe everybody who has been crushed by a bad swipe could do that. Would be so easy to fix in a new update.
