What is the best tempered glass/screen protector cover for iPhone 8 plus?

I am about to upgrade from my 6s to an 8 plus due to the slowness and bad condition my phone has become. I am tired of my phone randomly dying at percentages at least higher than fifty or even so, my phone not being able to last half a day going off of 100% and little activity and my bluetooth/wifi intenna being incapable of working properly and having taken it to Apple’s genius bar numerous times only to have been told that there was nothing they could do since it was a hardware issue. I have come to see that fixing it as some shady phone place would probably be not as smart and way more expensive than just buying a new phone being worried more things will break in the process. So yes, after two years of having my 6s, I think it is time for an upgrade. After digging around, I have chosen to go with the new life proof ”slam” case and I feel confident that it will serve plenty protection to the phone itself but I was skeptical on how it would do in protecting my screen so I began looking around for the what other iPhone users have thought to be the best screen protector(s) for the iPhone 8 plus or just any iPhone in general. I‘ve never had any screen protector on my 6s (despite of how clumsy I can be with my phone sometimes) I only have two cracks that might even just be large scratches but they are hardly noticeable, regardless, I do have plenty of scratches and even some dents on the outer edges of my phone. I want to know, from apple‘s perspective, what the best choice of screen protection would suite my soon-to-be new phone. Price isn’t a problem but I truly want to know what is recommened. Anything is much appreciated since I have been stressing aboug it for some time... but I hope you can help. Thanks!
