After restoring iPad from backup, I can't get past the setup :-(

My iPad doesn't get past the screen saying "Update Completed" and some other stuff. Whenever I tap the Continue button there is a loading wheel at the top right of the screen and it WON'T get past that stage. I (force) restarted countless times and I couldn't fix it. I mean...why does this must happen? Just look at that picture below...User uploaded file

It gets stuck like that and won't get past that screen. I don't want to lose all my data :-(

and yes, I know that I'm not talking to Apple...also I hope I didn't choose the wrong community...

Hey there, Variousthings3251,

Thanks for visiting the Apple Support Communities with your iPad update issue. I see from your screenshot you've reached the "Update Completed" screen, but if I understand your post, you're not able to move past it, as nothing happens when you press Continue. I'm happy to help!

Given the situation, a forced restart was a great first step to take. Since that did not solve the issue, I would recommend using iTunes on a computer to reinstall the iOS software's latest update. You can get instructions on how to do that using the "Put your device in recovery mode and set it up again" section of If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support .

Cheers!
