iTunes Classic Visualizer not working

No special effects. I see nothing but the apple logo and several orange-red pixels at the top of the visualizer. If I press 'd' (as has been suggested by other users), the apple logo disappears and the screen is empty black with only a square inch picture of my music selections album artwork in the lower left corner of the visualizer.

Short of resetting iTunes, is there anything I can do to bring it back to life? I am using it on a Windows 10.

I am having the same issue on Windows 10 also, and it started when I downloaded and installed the latest version of iTunes on my PC. I chatted with support about a week ago but got nowhere, they acted like I was nuts and told me it must be operator error. I was thinking about uninstalling and redownloading iTunes but haven't done so yet. I also noticed the other visualizer has a new look and format also, so maybe this is Apple's way of phasing out the classic visualizer which IMHO is much better than the new one. Good luck in finding a solution, if you could repost though if you do find one that would be great! I'll post again too if I find a way to fix it.
