Can’t delete iPhone update

Settings>Iphone storage> update > delete update button appears but doesn’t work as its making fool. my iPhone 6s, almost 6Gb space is occupied by “system”. almost 1Gb occupied by “update” . I m not ready to update and dont wanna waste more 1Gb for just update that I don’t want. IPhone s best kmown for simplicity, transparacy and user friendlines. Now a days full of....

I have seen this same behavior. Try to delete the update again. Then close the settings app and go back and see if it is gone. If not, try again, and then close the settings app and restart the phone.


As a last resort (this worked for me at one point) delete an app that you don’t care about, then delete try deleting the update again.

I'm trying to delete the latest update because it is draining the battery quickly(and the battery is two months old) and apps are not working correctly. Also Two updates ago I can only enter the Facebook app if I am on WiFi and not on LTE. The last message stated to go to Settings, then iPhone Storage and find a delete update button. I do not see a delet update button. Help?
