I replaced my iphone 7 as it broke. before replacing i took a backup in my itunes. But i dint restore it to my new iphone 7 rather i started it as a new phone. Its been few months since i did this. where can i find the old back up?

If you have made BackUps of your new device they may have overwritten your ”older” previous 7’s one, you need to look under iTunes Preferences and see which (check date) and how many you have. If you see one with a date prior to the new device then that is the one you require.
If you have already backed up the new phone in iTunes and if you did not you archive the previous backup, then it is gone. It was overwritten by the new backup as previously suggested.
