iMovie presentation video-edit mp4+pdf

Dear community,

I am trying to edit a meetup-presentation that was filmed (in mp4), and get the presentation (in pdf) to be synced in a format where the presenter is in a small window of the video screen, whereas the presentation is in a larger window on the same screen. Somehow i do not get it to work in iMovie.. Very uch apprechiate input on how this is done, or alternatively some suggestions for a different software for presentation video-edits.

Hi,

Drag your pdf into the iMovie project timeline. Then drag your presenter clip into the timeline, placing it above the pdf. Select the presenter clip and click on the overlapping squares icon in the toolbar in the upper part of your screen. Select Picture in Picture in the selection box that appears below the icon. You presenter clip will appear in the preview screen overlayed onto your pdf. Adjust its size and position. Then click on the blue reset button on the upper right of yours screen.
