Final Cut Pro X,"error 41562" when I try to export.
Every time I export a master file on Final Cut Pro X, it fails and says "error 41562." Please Help I need to get this video exported ASAP.

Every time I export a master file on Final Cut Pro X, it fails and says "error 41562." Please Help I need to get this video exported ASAP.
Well, looking through another post and I did find the right answer and it's similar to what you're saying but a little different. I was trying to save it to a hard drive that I had used for several other FCPX projects, so I knew it should be formatted correctly. What I failed to realize however was that my 4tb drive only had 11gb left on it and I was trying to save a 40gb file. Duh!! So, in this case, my error message (41562) simply meant that I did not have room on my drive for it. I wish it could have just told me that instead of looking all this time for answers.

The error simply means that the file can not be written to the drive. It doesn’t indicate why. It does not mean there isn’t enough space on the drive. In most cases the error message is caused because the drive is not correctly formatted. Doesn’t matter, you figured it out.
I think the same question came up just today. The problem seemed to be the drive format the file was being saved to.
What does that mean? The drive format. What does one do about that?
What is the drive that’s being exported to and how is it formatted? If it’s not a format that can be used for this, the drive would need to be reformatted using Disk Utility.
