Your Apple ID account becomes disabled for one of two reasons. Either

1) You tried to enter the wrong password or wrong security answers too many times - in that case, head over to https://iforgot.apple.com to get started toward recovering your account

or

2) You owe the iTunes Store money or there is a problem with your iTunes account - in that case, head over to iTunes - Official Apple Support for assistance or fill out this form: https://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html

Tried the chat, but it was more of an FAQ interpreter than a genius. So they scheduled a call

(May 2018)

SOLUTION: Support contacted me, at the scheduled time, it wasn’t the shortest phone call but there was no way around it. Problem solved

I wasted time trying other options so others don’t have to. Support line is the solution, although I’m pretty sure I knew that from the beginning...

Cheers

No, it is the solution in case the other solutions do not work. Clearly your issue was beyond the scope of the IFORGOT page. Glad your issue was resolved.

Have a nice day.
