Chinese Characters for Location

I’ve had the same thing happen to me, but it’s not the same message or even red lettering. Mine was yellow lettering and said Zhijian Pharmacy, which is odd because I Googled it and there are no pharmacists anywhere near me that own or work at a pharmacy.

Mine had the same Chinese characters when I shared my location. For me, it was the gaming apps that I'd downloaded. It never had those Chinese characters until I just went on a download frenzy of app games.

I deleted them and the Chinese characters went away.

Look at your app games or any app that's Chinese made. Delete the apps one by one to see which one is causing it.

Me too. I thought my wife had been hacked.

Same here. Location has been acting up and her phone is getting screen flicker.

The characters are the same.

There are a lot of Chinese apps that allow people to Manipulate their location. I've seen this before too.

I have the same issue (also my girlfriend has), Apple please investigate this.

I’ve been seeing the same thing, except today it was a mixture of English and Asian characters.

(I looked up TWG Tea, and apparently it’s a brand of tea from Singapore) 🏻♂

I've been getting the same thing since the beginning of the year and I'm surprised it is still not fixed. Just checked again now and I'm still seeing the same problem as well.
