This problem started with Google Calendar. As soon as I open the app it closes and I’m back to the home screen. It happens every time I open the app and has been going on at least 45 days. Now Pinterest is doing the same thing.
I’ve turned the phone on and off, uninstalled and reinstalled Google Calendar and contacted the Google Calendar app administrator. The calendar initially opens but as soon as I tap a date it closes. I haven’t tried anything with Pinterest yet but it just closes right after it opens.

Make sure your iPhone software is up to date. It should be running iOS 11.3.1.
Update your iPhone to the latest version of iOS.
