Question: Saving Video to iPad (iOS 11.3.1)

I have received a short video (mp4) by email on my iPad.

Tapping it opens the Share Options Menu.

If I click on the "Share Video" icon rather than using the "iCloud Photo Sharing" icon, where does the iPad store the video?

How do I subsequently access the video on my iPad?

Just can't figure this out.

iOS 11.3, Mini

Answer:

Another thing, if everything works out, video will probaly be saved in TV app in your iPad, not Camera Roll. If you record video from iPad camera, then it appears in the Photos app.

Your question is very confusing...

If you click on "Share Video", the intent is not to store the video, but rather to share it. There are many ways the video may be shared: email and messages to name two.

But it appears you're trying to store the video on the iPad, which is an entirely different thing. If you get to a "Store Video" point, the video would be stored in Camera Roll - assuming you have one.

Perhaps you see "Store Video" in the steps you've taken. Otherwise, you may touch and hold the video attachment in your email to see it.

Sorry for any confusion...you are correct, just want to know where on an iPad imported/downloaded videos are stored.

And BORg529 below has the answer!

Never knew what the TV App on the iPad was for. Indeed, videos I shot on my DSLR camera, downloaded to my Mac Pro & copied to the iPad using iTunes appear in TV App--> Library --> Home Videos!

Love these forums!!

Thanks to both of you for helping!
