If Iphone SE firmwear and Iphone 5S firmwear are same in IPSW what is the logic???

Ihave iphone 5s.. Yesterday i checked the IPSW and i saw 5S and SE firmwear using same coad name.. Because of that i would downloaded SE softwear and install my 5S... I want to know how can it worked. No error getting in my phone.. It is fine.. But what is the logic.. I tried to update 5S softwear wor SE bt it cant... It ok because 5S firmwear hasnt coading SE feture.. Bt SE firmwear has many feture aditionaly added to SE feture but that coading's are lopped and only worked 5S feture.. And i saw in IPSW iphone 6,6s and iphone 7,8 firmwear are same i assume 6s and 8 firmwear can use 6 and 7.. In future your company will stop sending updates for apple 5S bt i think i can use your updates without errors.... Please send me a fully information for this matter...

It is possible for the same download to apply to multiple devices. Attempting to install the wrong firmware should fail, if not you would likely brick your device. Install the current firmware for your device's hardware, or don't, the choice is yours.

If the file is for the correct screen size and 32/64-bit, there's no reason it shouldn't work. The iPhone 5S chips may be slower than those is the iPhone SE, but that won't stop it running.

I think its not a iassue.. My 5s woeking perfectly... Batry life is better than previous firmwear.. Bt i have a dout.. How it work.. Most different fetures coadings included in SE firmwear.. Bt nothing happened.. These coadings are blocked or hide 5S Rom... Is it possible.. I would like to learn.... And i5C softwear same to i5 softwear.. And SE firmwear same to 5S firmwear.. 6S firmwear same to 6 firmwear ... And i8 firmwear same to 7 firmwear... And if you cutoff 5S.. And when stop 5S updates.. We can update it SE firmwear.. Is it risk in your firmwear..

But why would anyone choose an IPSW file on their own? It makes no sense to try to outsmart iTunes and iOS.

The main reason for different download files for different devices is screen size and 32/64-bit differences. There are lots of graphics and they don't want to waste space with graphics for the wrong screen size, or code for the wrong word size.

The iPhone 5 and 5C are both 32-bit, and the same screen size. The only difference is the 5C having some screens that match the case color, and that color could be changed dynamically, so not waste much space.

The others are all 64-bit, so one file per screen size would be sufficient. There are speed and feature additions, but that may not add enough code to make it worth supporting different downloads. The iPhone X may have enough extra code to make a separate file worthwhile.

You should never, ever download an IPSW file. Let iTunes choose the file by using the Update or Restore buttons on the iTunes summary screen.
