Apple TV music stops playing when screensaver activates

This appears to be a recent change when playing Apple Music on Apple TV (4) iOS 11.3, previously music would continue to play with the screensaver active

Apple TV 4k Screensaver not activating while Music app is is doing its thing. Hi, I have the screensaver set to be active during music, but it never shows up. I really do not need or want to see the album art or or lyrics. I have a pretty bright and new LG OLED tv and i would rather not risk image burn from needlessly displaying the album art. I love using the atmos/spacial audio mixes but seeing id rather have the slideshow when music is playing, its rather relaxing. This wouldn't be an issue if Apple added a visualizer or two as an option. (hint hint wink wink, please Apple) I am running whatever the current stable public production build of TVos, its set to auto update.

Apple Music Caused OLED TV Burn-In When playing Apple Music on an Apple TV, does anyone know how to set it so that the screen saver turns on while in the app listening to music? Mine defaults to karaoke mode when left untouched in the app, and the screen saver will only turn on if I exit to the home screen while music is playing. APPLE you should have settings default to always avoid static images! Why do I ask? Because I have a permanent burnt in shadow of a children’s music album cover on my OLED TV because the album doesn’t move on the screen in Karaoke mode. The nanny left the house with the music playing in the app.

iOS is the operating system for iPhones, iPads, and the iPod Touch.

So see if the software on your Apple TV needs updating > Update the software on your Apple TV.
