Beach balling on Safari and Chrome suddenly

Hi,

I've had my Macbook for just over four years and it's worked fine up until about a week ago. Now it beach balls almost every time I load a page on safari and sometimes on Chrome. It also does this occasionally on other apps. Can anyone help fix this? I ran an EtreCheck and have the report if that helps. Thank you

MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)
