Buy iphone 8 in USA to use in Australia

I am wondering - if I purchase an unlocked iphone 8 (256gb) in USA - can I use this in Australia ? Are there any issues / problems with doing this ? How does warranty work ?

thank you

If the phone is unlocked, then yes, you should be able to use it in Australia, however, the warranty does not work. If you purchase the phone in the US, then warranty is for the US only and not for Australia. If something goes wrong with the phone you will need to get on a plane and go back to the US.

If you want to use an iPhone in Australia, then buy it in Australia and then you will have a valid warranty on it.
