11.4 remote problem

I’ve just updated to 11.4 and now my remote seems almost unusable. Was working fine before the update but it is as if it has a really weak connection now and only responds intermittently. I’ve tried re-pairing and doing a restart but still the same. Bizarre but has to be the update I think. Any help would be appreciated.
