Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

I migrated to Iphone 8 and took an update and now I get now updates.

Apple Support:

A lot of people have been asking this question and as near as I can tell no one has answered it. I want notifications turned on again.

1) Yes I checked notifcations in settings.

2) Yes I reset them for each and every app

3) Yes I reset my network settings.

Will you please tell your customers how to fix this?

First, this is a user-to-user forum and with very limited exceptions, no on here works for Apple.

Second, are you talking about the iOS update fro your iPhone or the app updates (from the iTunes Store)? If you man app updates, see the last paragraph in the "On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch" section in:

Turn on Automatic Downloads for iTunes Store, App Store, and iBooks Store purchases - Apple Support

HI Javaliga,

Yes I know what this forum is. I also work in customer support at a fortune 100 company and know that some people in CS are tasked with reviewing these forums.

I screwed up my subject line and it should have read "and now I get NO NOTIFICATIONS"

I followed one suggestion on the net yesterday to start up each app and I would start getting notifications. That did work for at least 1 app.

Regards,

Arthur

That may be true where you work but, largely, it isn't in these forums. The Hosts review posts to make sure that they are in line with the terms of use. Given the huge volume of posts and the small number of Hosts, that's all they have time to do. Questions in certain forums that have gone unanswered for more than 12 hours are automatically routed to Community Specialists who answer them if they can be answered by a referral to a support article. No regular Apple Support personnel are reading here. So, no, you're not talking to Apple Support here.

On rare occasions, if an engineer/team is investigating an already identified issue, they may search the forum for examples of the issue and reach out to people directly.
