I have been syncing for years without trouble. Today my iPod classic suddenly has no songs, videos, or podcasts on the device although when connected to my iMac by USB, the library on the device is there and appears intact; when I click 'sync' it quickly says "sync completed" but nothing is on my iPod . Help!

Check your sync selections. They may have been reset. Syncing nothing will take very little time.

Sync selections checked-no change. Weird that photos sync, but music , video, and podcasts will not.
