Solar face not working after watch update 4.3.1

Immediately following the Apple Watch update 4.3.1, the Solar face failed to show the title (day, twilight, etc.) when rotating the crown. I deleted the solar face, restarted both iPhone and watch, added the solar face back, and it still does not work.

Here’s the fix- on my watch, anyway:

On your phone, open Apple Watch app, go to:

My Watch/General/Background app refresh-turn ON!

Even with all of the options turned off to save battery life, just having the main top button ON, made the Solar face begin working correctly!!

I see my Solar face working correctly, you seem to have the only report so far which means this is not a bug in the new WatchOS. Considering your observation that the startup seemed abnormal I think the best thing to try is a forced reset. Press and hold both buttons on the watch until the Apple appears and the watch reboots. If that doesn't fix it, unpair the watch then re-pair to force loading all the software again, hopefully this time fully working.

Thank you for your suggestion, but I tried that before posting. The only odd thing I noticed during update was the “installing” circle on the watch only completed 2/3, before rebooting. IDK if this display is actually accurate, but prior updates completed the circle. My phone shows the update installed on the watch.
