Compressor Export MKV?

I'm thinking of purchasing Compressor and I was wondering if I can export to an mkv container.

MacBook Pro (13-inch, Late 2016, 2 TBT3), macOS High Sierra (10.13.4)

Is it possible to convert an MKV file to ProRes using Compressor 4.5.2? Hi, I have a bunch of MKV files that I already converted to M4V. I've been editing with the M4Vs. The quality is ok but I'd like to make sure I get the best before I render out the project and finish it. how much does iMovie drop box hold I am having trouble downloading a video that is 33.3 MB to the iMovie Drop Box. Anyone have any ideas on how to get this done without buying a 50 dollar compressor?

Exporting MP4 Seems like there is no straight forward way to export an MP4. The only way I can do it is export it with Compressor using the "HTTP Live Streaming" preset but that seems like weird option for MP4. Otherwise I export it as a Quicktime MOV then need to re-compress in another app like Handbrake which diminishes the quality and take more time re-compressing the file twice. What's the best way? BTW, reason I need MP4 is satisfy non Apple clients who don't want MOV.
