Good to know and nice to hear good stories too :). (To bad mine isn’t but let’s hope they will fix it soon)
My iphone X neds also a lot mor battery power than before !
We have 2 iPhone 6S. Both have after the IOS 11.4 the same problem. loss of more than 60% Battery power over night - no use. Please solve the problem quickly!!!
This seemed to work for me: settings —> privacy —> location services —> system services. After I unchecked all of the system services (except find my iPhone), the battery drain stopped.
Yes, I'm reading that now. I'm going to wait until I'm at about 40-60% charged and then try the reset and see if there is a change. My device will still be less than a year old for another two weeks.
Hi Erwin,
Sorry to destroy your hope that 11.4.1 can fix the issue. I run the 11.4.1 as Beta version on my 6s and have still the same issue as before.
A pattern that I have seen is that the battery drains (by far) faster overnight than during the day
During the day it seems to drain at %1.5 to %2.0 per hour
at night it drains at %10 to %15 per hour.
Giving It a go to.
I wonder, isn’t the mobile network location kind of important to have switched on? (Or I am just not understanding what it is that I have switched on/off 😣) not that tech savvy 😜
For me the different WiFi Hrtz didn’t matter. Work at the slow WiFi just as much drain as at home :(
Surprising me. I have send several notes about that to the Apple software team.
How do I downgrade operating system
You don’t.
How can you downgrade to 11.3?
I had that problem too and identified WLAN 5 Ghzz as driver.
One Night in 5 Ghz - next morning 63% (started with 100%)
Next night in 2,4 Ghz - next morning 97%
Hope that helps.
I operate my iPhone 6 Plus exclusively at home where I have only 2.4GHz and I have the battery drain problem since day one. So in my case, it has absolutely NOTHING to do with 5.0GHz Wi-Fi!
